Ricki Lake is talking about a strange experience she had with famous Hollywood medium Tyler Henry, just days before the wildfires destroyed her home in Los Angeles. The talk show host, who lost her house in the fire, shared a post on Instagram on January 11. In the post, she revealed that Tyler Henry had predicted a “house fire” in her future.
Tyler Henry’s Strange Prediction
Ricki and Tyler had a conversation on October 15, 2024, when they filmed an episode of his show on Netflix. In the clip Ricki shared on Instagram, Tyler said something that left her both shocked and confused.
“There might be a coincidence where we lose something,” Tyler said. “It might already have happened… if it was a loss from both fire and water.” He explained that the fire and water might be connected in her future. This made Ricki feel like the prediction was warning her about something that could happen.
Ricki wrote in her post: “The great Tyler Henry called it less than 3 months ago.” She added that she didn’t fully understand what he meant at the time, but the prediction came true later.
The Fire That Destroyed Her Home
Ricki’s worst fears came true when, in early January 2025, her home was destroyed by the wildfires that quickly spread through Los Angeles. On January 9, she shared a heartbreaking video on Instagram, showing the flames near her home as she evacuated.
“Grateful to have made it out alive and uninjured,” she wrote. “Forever grateful to Kirby Coulter, our angel. He did everything to try to save our home. If we had stayed, we would not have survived.”
In her post, Ricki thanked the firefighters, first responders, and everyone who offered support. She also encouraged people to help those affected by the ongoing fires, which have caused damage in many parts of California.
